SPT 5 Update

English

In English, students in SPT5 have practiced reading designated words, reading for meaning, using dictionaries and working out the main point of different texts. The students had a competition, to see which team could find the meaning of the words the quickest.

Maths

In Maths, students in SPT5 have been learning about the value of digits and different methods to calculate numbers. SPT5 students are great at applying what they are learning to reasoning questions, problem-solving questions and exam-style questions.

PSHE

To improve mental health and wellbeing, students in SPT5 made cornflake cakes. They worked together in small teams, supported each other and even cleaned up after themselves.
